Clover Kids - 5 to 7 years old

Clover Kids are part of the 4-H program giving younger children exposure to a limited number of 4-H projects with the emphasis on the experience rather than the competition. The goal is to assist in the overall development of the child and promote parent/child teamwork in a variety of project areas. The focus is on self esteem.

The enrollment deadline is the same as regular 4-H members...April 1.

All Clover Kids are invited to the Explore Day Camp on Tuesday, July 8, 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon, in the Open Air Auditorium on the Cass County fairgrounds. For a $6 registration fee, Clover Kids can learn about electricity and wildlife, decorate a t-shirt (bring a pre-washed white cotton t-shirt), make a pop can birdhouse (bring empty soda pop can), bird cupcakes, paper and healthy snacks. Register by July 3.

A Clover Kid may exhibit at the County Fair using the CK Fair Exhibit Selection List in the fairbook. Clover Kids are not eligible to compete in regular classes; for example, best of show or champion. Each exhibit receives a Clover Kid ribbon but no premium money.
